Diabetics at Pizza Hut
Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.
Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:
You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.
Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Ordered a large 2-topping mushroom/pineapple pizza recently. They didn't skimp on toppings which is always a plus! Overall, good pizza option. Great for take out. I can't say the same about delivery. It seems no matter what day or time of day it is, the minimum wait is close to an hour.

Horrible. Ordered Hawaiian Pizza and they forgot to put pineapples on the pizza. Customer service is bad, all the employees seem to always be mad all the time. The employee argued with me and said that "you didn't order your pizza with pineapples" when it clearly said on the receipt that I did. All she could do was add on the pineapples on the top. Pineapples were obviously fresh out of the can. I had a burnt pizza with cold pineapples on top. Nobody even touched it. I wasted my money on a horribley made pizza. I even heard them in the back arguing about how pineapples can't be added on top because it will ruin the inventory. I'm never coming back here again. Go get your pizza elsewhere everyone. The pizza hut on Florin is way better than this place.

Good pizza for a low price? Why not! I've always loved Pizza Hut and with awesome deals like $7.99 for a large 2-topping who wouldn't? They have a new hand tossed pizza crust which is so fluffy and delicious! Unusually order online because going in location can be time consuming! Whenever I pick up my pizza there's a ton of people waiting for their orders to be ready. But when I order online my pizza is always ready when I'm there. People are usually nice. You get what you pay for! Not the greatest pizza but it's definitely good especially for the price!

I've continued to order from this location & other than forgetting my 2 liter of soda they are pretty consistent. ..forgotten soda included. I've ordered pasta, pizza, wings, bread sticks & desserts; all are great quality. I had to update my review because besides forgetting my sodas each and every time the food is great quality & the delivery drivers are always friendly.
(4)Michael R.
It's a great pizza but if u are a big pizza critic I don't suggest you get a pizza here.
(3)Mark C.
Terrible service, poorly managed. Been here 3 times and i'm never going back. i'll go to Pizza Guys instead

So this was our 2nd time trying out this Pizza Hut location...wifey is a sucker for their stuffed crust pizza. I don't know why we came back when our first experience was horrific. Our first time was a delivery order on Super Bowl Sunday. I expected the pizza to come late.......but almost 3 hours late??????? That's just ridiculous. The pizza arrived cold and it was just horrible. I had called at one point and asked where our pizza was. The guy on the phone had no idea and could not help me whatsoever. The 2nd time was today. Wifey ordered some pizza for delivery. All went well on the phone and the delivery guy was actually early. So what happened this time? The pizza looked like it had been dropped! The slices were smushed together and layered on top of each other. Ugh. And to make matters worse, my stomach feels like I'm going to pay for it soon. Gross. Never again!
(1)Victoria T.
Opened the pizza box to grab a slice and took a bite only to look down and see there was a hair on the parchment paper where I had pulled out the slice. The hair was so long that it was under the other slices of pizza too. Talked to the manager, Blake, who did not apologize. Was offered a new pizza. There should have been a credit or refund offered, but there wasn't. I've never experienced such bad customer service. He gave so much attitude and acted as if we made it up. I wouldn't have wasted my time or money driving back to return the pizza if it was made up.
(1)Cinchiem S.
Bf went to pick up our order and turns out they gave our pizza to someone else. So he had to wait for them to make new pizzas. Also they argued saying he payed less than what he was suppose too. He showed them his receipt which has the total on there. Saying he got lucky. He saved 10 bucks? We had ordered for pickup from their website. To top it off when he got home we were getting ready to eat when we opened the box they gave us the wrong pizza! He already had to wait for them to make new pizza now he has to go back and get the right pizza. They only got 3 stars because I love their stuff crust
(3)He H.
Every time we order here there seems to be a problem. The last two times our pizza has been "lost" or "given away" and although they offer to throw in a cookie or breadsticks... we have to wait, again. It's bad enough that the wait is between 45-1 hour long, but to show up and then wait again is horrible. Very unsatisfied with this location, but I love Pizza Hut stuffed crust pizza.
(1)Patty H.
TERRIBLE! Basically there were so little toppings on our pizza that all we tasted was bread with some red sauce. This seems to be the status quo for chain pizza joints these days. We ordered three pizzas one being their Supreme and we couldn't even identify the different meats, there was very little cheese, and almost no veggies - it was on a thin crust and looked like someone had picked at it and then sat on it. There was no "thickness" to it that should have been the toppings. It was the same for the other two pizzas as well. We had our hearts set on Pizza Hut and drove the distance (it's not close to our house) but we won't order from here again. Very disappointing!!

04/20/2014 Ordered a large, hand tossed, super supreme for $11.00 plus tax. Walked in and placed ordered. Lizbeth took my order. She was very nice and professional. 15 minutes later my order was ready. Amanda gave me my pizza. Amanda was very nice and professional. The pizza Amada handed to me was hot. Got it home. Pizza was made very well. It was good. Good service. Good pizza. I give it 4 stars!
(4)Kimberly M.
Ordered a pizza for delivery. 1 medium pizza. I live 3 blocks away. Took an hour and a half. Seriously... I feel bad for not tipping the delivery guy, but that shit took way too long. Never again.
(1)Chris C.
First visit and wont be back unless it is all free! Online order system is a scam! Advertised a deal and it was not available. Then it places the order anyway! Then I called and made the correction and still delivered the wrong pizza! The pizza was cold as well. Then I called and explained it was the incorrect order and the first question was "Did you eat any of it"? Really? That is your concern? I explained that yes two pieces were eaten as my guest had to leave. After a verbal argument the next Pizza was sent and arrived 30 minutes later! It was cold! Poor customer service. Lousy pizza Cold pizza Rude and inconsiderate phone staff at location!

Its gotten alot better. Orders are done fast and lines has gooten shorter. Would recommend.

$10 for any size, any toppings pizza?! YES PLEASE! Love ordering pizza from this place on game nights. The pizza is thick just how we like it and they are very generous with their toppings. I love their vegetarian pizza ( I love vegetables! ) with extra bell peppers! They workers are very friendly. One of the gals offered us free marinara sauce which saved us a buck or two! Kudos for that! :) So glad there is a location in Elk Grove now!
(4)Mimi V.
This place is a joke! My sister ordered pizza here online for her party and asked me to pick it up. Four pizzas were ordered around 2 p.m. to be ready by 5:30 p.m. I show up at 5:35 p.m., hoping to pay and go. NOPE! There was a lady before me who was complaining that she got her pizza at 5:38 p.m. instead of 5:30 p.m. As someone with more class, I waited it out until about 5:45 p.m. for my pizza without any complaints. Little did I expect, they got my order wrong. Two pizzas of the four were incorrect. I couldn't bring these pizzas to the party - what if someone was allergic to one of the other ingredients. So they made me wait "6 minutes" for the pizza to run through the machine. They eventually brought me my pizza again. IT WAS WRONG, AGAIN. Now, I was surprised. How do you get an order wrong TWICE?! I was getting impatient and the people waiting for me in the car were too. FINALLY, the next round of pizzas came out. The cashier told me to complain and ask for a free soda so I could get one. I shouldn't have even had to ask to get the free soda. What kind of business are they running here, a zoo? Let's just say I won't be ordering from here ever again. Pizza wasn't bad, but I waited sit-down dining time for take-out pizza. I finally left at 6 p.m. The cashier was extremely understanding, sorry for the mistakes. I appreciated that, but mistakes are mistakes! Get it right, peeps!

Don't order for a late night meal. Soo many things wrong. First, ordered a stuffed crust pepperoni pizza and we got there looked at it before we paid for it. It looked okay then when we got home, the pizza was flat and the cheese in the crust wasn't even melted! Looked like string cheese you buy from a grocery store. Secondly, the marinara sauce was cold and was suppose to be warm and the cheesy bread looked old af. Waste of $20.
(1)Isk G.
I ordered online where they have a deal for the cheese bacon stuffed crust pizza which comes with a soda. When I pick up the pizza the girl did not give me my soda because I supposedly didn't punch in the coupon code. She refused to help or do anything because her Manager wony allow her! How will I know there is a coupon code on the online daily deals that's online? And if I didn't punch in that code why was I prompted to pick my soda flavor? I've given then multiple chances even when they mess up the toppings, don't have the peppers or cheese and even when the pizza is sloppy. Enough is enough! I'll take my business somewhere else.
(2)Jordan M.
No thanks! Ordered my pizza on a Tuesday night online with my credit card, paid, said 30-45 mins and it took over an hour. They never called like they said they would or they should before ever putting in the order (I've had orders not go through because they didn't call to verify). Called the store after an hour, put me on hold instantly for 20 minutes. The delivery guy eventually got here but called my phone and hung up after 60 seconds of not talking or coming to my door. Dude, you're a delivery driver. You ring the damn doorbell. That's how deliveries work! You also don't hang up if you do call, how the hell am I supposed to know who you are or what you want if you call and hang up!? Just give me my damn order.
(1)Kellmerr M.
The last time I ordered pizza from this location, I waited 20 minutes past the time it was supposed to be ready. The manager took my money and didn't even pretend to appreciate my business. I opened the box to the cheese pizza and it was completely burned. I told her I wanted my money back and left. She didn't bother to apologize or attempt to accommodate me for the inconvenience.
(2)Rachel W.
Pizzahut you get a 3star review only because i LOVE ur pizza... Small location... I really wish this was a sit down pizza hut... Guess those days are long gone . Poop dog boooo! Thumbs down to that).. small business.. Usually hekka crowded and busy, service was just ok.. Sorry pizza hut... I still love ya tho!
(3)Alison C.
We go here due to their the only place in town that offers stuff crust pizza, but I cant eat pepperoni pizza due to the fact it makes me really gassy and makes my tummy hurt. So i order cheese and every time i get a pepperoni pizza and i cant eat it, when I call to get the matter fixed it usually takes about 3 times and me driving down their to get the correct pizza. Its very frustrating. If that inst enough when i order cheesy bread sticks they always forget the cheese on top and give me normal ones. Or there is just something wrong with the pizza itself. We will not be going to this location anymore i will drive to the location further out to get my pizzas
(2)Florence A.
I just wish the place didn't smell as bad, but I guess it's the smell of burnt cheese and grease :-/ I thought their pizzas were delicious for the price I paid but now that I walked in there, I will not be returning :-/

I wish i could give NO STARS Worst customer service ever. I ordered 2 pizzas online last night around 11pm. I received 2 email confirmations with estimated delivery times. I received a voicemail from a woman saying she received my order and said they only accept cash at the moment. The girl who left the message sounded dead, she didn't leave her name or a number to call back on. Luckily I have an iPhone and called the number back, of course I got no answer and no answering machine. The pizza never came. I called over 10 times and finally a man answered, I told him what happened and he said they were closed. I gave him my phone number and he said he shows no record of me ordering anything, BUT I got a message from a girl saying I ordered AND 2 email confirmations. I woke up the next day and MY CARD WAS CHARGED! I wouldn't have cared if I got the pizzas but I paid for nothing. I called and was placed on hold for 11 minutes. When a woman answered I asked for a manager, she asked if she could help me and I asked if she was a manager and she said no, I asked a 2nd time to speak with a manager and was placed in hold for another 8 minutes. Long story short I updated her on the situation and she told me she would call me back. She called back a few min later and explained the charge would be voided. I wasn't upset that the card was charged I was upset it was charged and I didn't get pizza. She told me since I never called back to confirm the pizza wasn't delivered. Never have I ever had to confirm an order when I do it online. The manager didn't seem to care. I doubt she was a manager, sounded like someone pretending to be management. I work in customer service and if anyone cared about their business they would definitely act a different way. Judging by the previous reviews I'm not the only one who has dealt with this poor branch. I would have came to this branch and complained in person & demanded new pizzas but I didn't want to end up with hair in my meal they need new employees and better customer service.
(1)Mimi A.
HAIR!!! There was a hair in the pasta!!! My sister took a bite and had to pull the hair out of her mouth. So she threw away that serving and got herself a new scoop to find...A 2ND HAIR!!! GROSS. No wonder they only have a star and a half rating. Check out the picture too.
(1)Jessica F.
All around horrible! The pizza was over an hour late and when we called to find out what was going on the girl on the phone had the nerve to get and attitude! Once the delivery guy came we turned him away! Unacceptable!!!! Especially when we put in our order at 3 pm for it to be delivered at 5 pm!
(1)Daniel C.
I've been here a few times and they have only messed up our order once. But hey, it happens sometimes. You can't beat the $10 Large Pizza deal. I've only ordered carryout and they have had the food ready when they tell me. The employees at the front desk are very friendly even when it's super busy (all the time). Overall, I believe this is a solid Pizza Hut. Note - I've never had an order delivered so this review is based on carryout only.
(4)James T.
Worse service ever, bad customer service, got my order mixed up with someone elses order than tries to argue it was my fault bullshit, not only that there not even attending to customers, the line was packed and all they did was ignore everyone and acted like they dont need there job, omg are these employees fighting over who works less? Haha halirious its like a bunch of over rated idiots trying to sit on there ass
(1)Tram T.
This place might just be too busy for their own good at the moment. The nearest other Pizza Hut is on Florin. Elk Grove customers probably dont want to drive all the way to Florin area now but it's this new store can hardly keep up with all the orders. My order came out fine with no mistakes, just 15 minutes later then the time I ordered online for pickup.

It's Pizza Hut. Go in expecting that. This isn't gourmet pizza, it isn't artisan, heck, it isn't even home-made. Now, that being said, I expected better. So far, they haven't gotten any of my orders wrong, but they did totally misrepresent my "ready by" time. We ordered on a (rainy) Friday night, and were told it would be at least ninety minutes if we had it delivered. Surely it would be faster if we picked it up, right? Well, they said it would be, so we placed a pick-up order and were told forty five minutes (it WAS a busy night). When I got there forty five minutes later, my pizza wasn't ready. They said "it won't be long; it's in the machine." Forty five minutes after I got there (that's right, AFTER I got there, making it the ninetieth minute) my pizza was finally ready. Unfortunately, some nights you just want a cheap pizza option, and this place is still better than the other local options.

I haven't had Pizza Hut since the 90's. Called in, ordered 2 Medium pizzas for delivery. Was told it would take 30 minutes. Rather surprising since its Friday and they sounded super busy when I was on the phone with them. So in the moments after placing my order I read through the many awful reviews and was expecting the worse, and even laughing about it. To my surprise, the doorbell rang exactly 30 minutes from the time I got off the phone with them. I was again surprised that I liked the pizza, I kept it simple with veggie toppings only. I would give this place 3 stars, however, since it has an overall bad rating I opt to give them an extra star due to this unexpected great experience. The driver was tipped well.

Service was horrible. The girl at the counter didnt greet us and was too busy having a side conversation. When i got home my pizza was nice and hot, but it was so greasy and saucy. I love pizza hut, and this location disappointed me. There was so much cheese and sauce that I couldnt taste anything else. My garlic bread that I ordered was burnt as well. Ill never order from this location ever again.
(1)Bryan T.
I've order pizzas from here a few times. Every time the pizzas shows up late. I call the store each time and get the run around. Probably the worse customer service from the manager at a pizzahut you can find. If you feel like waiting around for a pizza try mountain mikes least the ingredients are fresher.
(1)Malik A.
worst experience ever. cold pizza. guy didnt bother useing the heat bag. ordered thin crust. but they brought razor thin crust. it really had no flavor or spice to it. it looked dull and tasted like it looked. tasteless pizza with no originality.
(1)Glenda S.
Pizza is good, customer service is horrible. We have ordered from them 2x both times our order was "forgotten about" until we got there to pick it up, and we hd to wait for them to make it. Staff needs to be trained on customer service! I think we will stick to other places in the future!
(1)James A.
I ordered one of their new pizzas with cheese and bacon stuffed crust this afternoon. After waiting an hour and a half, the pizza that showed up was very greasy and completely missing the bacon in the crust. I called the store and was told an employee called me and got my permission to skip the bacon because they were out. This never happened. I was told because we had eaten some of the pizza before finding that there was no bacon, we would not be given a refund. Do NOT order from this location. The only reason I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 is that the manager, Blake, was very polite and apologetic. He assured me this issue would be handled.

If the Pizza Hut in Florin wasn't so far from me, i'd go there instead. Don't get me wrong, the pizzas are great and all, but the service is trash...maybe trash is a bit too hard; however, it definitely needs work. But then again, what can you do? As long as you get your pizzas, right? After all, It's the only Pizza Hut around Elk Grove, so you have to deal with it.
(2)Devona Y.
I'll agree the service is pretty bad. We ordered online and it gave us a time to go pick up our order but they had us wait an extra 30 minutes on several occasions. Our pizza is never cut proportionate.. it's sort of a big no no for me. I mean really? How hard is it to slice pizza. But I do like that it's close to home and the pizza's not that too bad for the price. I looooove their cheesy crust.
(3)Bruddah S.
Let me say first that I was thrilled to find out Pizza Hut was opening in Elk Grove! After reading everyone's comments, everyone pretty much cover the same problem and I DID see it first hand. I'll try to make it brief for everyone, especially for my family and friends who love eating pizza from Pizza Hut. There were a few SANITATION ERRORS I noticed amongst the workers. Some were not wearing any hats or hair nets. Even the one whom they called boss tonight wasn't wearing any hair protection. One guy who I will not name wasn't wearing his hat and I caught him brushing or scratching his head with his hands a few times and kept on working. He went to wash his hands once, but still. Sanitation rules are standard for all food service establishments, you work with food, you got long hair even short, you need to cover it up! There was flies flying around and no one seemed to care. I noticed the flies going into some of the bags that keep the pizza warm too. There's TOO MUCH CLUTTER or the space or workspace isn't really organized. I noticed once the pizza or food comes out, it's just placed on the side of the same counter. Someone else then comes along and puts it in a warmer bag. They don't call out numbers or have someone overseeing that area to make sure the order goes out. That's where the problem lies and probably gets confused, because the front cashiers don't know where the pizza went and they just assume it's still cooking. They should separate an area for call in orders and walk in orders so there is no confusion. The menu SHOULD be placed on the wall or something so that people aren't cluttered at the front deciding and trying to order at the same time. Another problem I came across tonight was, they didn't even have the fryer on or ready for some reason. People were waiting for their order and the oil was just getting warmed up. Are you serious? I could understand if they cleaned out the old oil, but really? Lastly, they need to really work on their wait time frame. Don't tell me 5-10 minutes and then 20 minutes comes along and you guys are still trying to figure out whose bread sticks go with what order. I'm sure EG Pizza Hut will get it together sometime soon, hopefully not later because if that's the case, I'll just go to the one on East Florin. I don't know if management realizes how much Elk Grove like Pizza Hut. Many of us have put Pizza Hut as a high standard, we expect all the workers to uphold that standard. They just need to re-evaluate job positions, procedures, sanitation rules, and work flow techniques to fix this problem. I'm not saying that all of them working there are like this, just the few that I saw up front truly puts the face on for Pizza Hut in Elk Grove. Other than that, the pizza is still good!

I ordered a pizza here before getting my haircut at greatcuts (the next shopping center south of here) and it was done by the time my haircut was done. Took about 15 minutes. The pizza was good but when i asked for hot peppers and cheese they barely gave me enough.

Ordered 2 medium pizzas online at 7:14pm last night. The order said it wouldn't be ready till 8:48pm. Over 90 minutes for two medium pizzas? No thank you. Tried to call to cancel the order but the automated system kept hanging up on me. I tried using the order option to cancel but the lady on the line was rude and told me this is only for order and I have to select 2 to cancel and wait. I started to explain to her that the system was hanging up on me but she said goodbye and hung up on me instead! After 40 minutes of trying to cancel the order I finally got through only to be told the pizzas were already being put in the oven. So I decided not to cancel it and made my way to the store. When I got there they couldn't find my order because they didn't label them properly. After 10 minutes of searching the csr finally found my order but it wasn't what I had ordered. I had ordered one pan crust and another regular. She told me they ran out of dough and so they had given me one thin crust medium and one regular large pizza to make up for it. At this point I was so stupid hungry that I just said okay and wanted to go home. The thin crust pizza was chewy instead of being crunchy and the regular pizza had a really salty crust. The toppings were sparse but the cheese and sauce was decent. All in all this place does not have it together. I wouldn't go back even if they paid me to eat their pizza. Avoid at all costs!!!

Most of my experiences with this Pizza Hut have been average. Exactly what you'd expect from a local pizza place. You place your order online, it comes in 20-30 minutes unless it's a busy night, it's what you ordered, you eat it. Pretty good pizza. Tonight (a Wednesday night) I placed an online order, was quoted 30 minutes. 45 minutes later, I called the place, was told that my driver was "leaving now". No apology or explanation. It arrived, and was not what I ordered. The driver was really nice, but said he didn't have the power to make any changes and suggested I called the manager. I did, and he did not apologize at all, just said it was "weird." Offered to remake the pizzas in exchange for the pizzas that were dropped off. I told him I'd given one of the wrong pizzas to my kids anyway since the pizza arrived late and they were hungry. He said then he could only replace one of the pizzas then, in exchange for the other wrong pizza. It was something, but just not the kind of response I would expect for their error. I'll still probably end up ordering from them again. One bad experience doesn't undo all the times of good service, though it does leave a bad taste in the mouth.
(3)Edison C.
Ridiculous. Ordered a couple pizzas and some chicken wings. Waited over 2 hours. Called the store and they said that the delivery driver went to the wrong street. No calls or anything. Order ended up being cancelled. Tried reordering and they added 3 extra bucks because they don't participate in the online ordering "deals". Thanks for notifying your customer.

Horrible service! If I could cuss I would!I ordered my 2 large special 3 topping pizzas online at 5:33 pm. At 6:04 pm I received a phone call from an employee, stating they were out of mushrooms and what would I want to substitute instead. Once the order was complete, she also informed me the order would no longer be ready at 6:30 as planned but now 6:45 pm. I agreed to this change but questioned if they were discounting or offering free products due to the inconvenience. She stated, with manager approval, 2 liter sodas are being given out. I arrived to the store at 6:45 pm, to a line going out the door. The store is extremely small and lacks air circulation. Though it was only 80 degrees that day, the store had to be in the 90's. I waited in line for 25 minutes and watched other customers being given the wrong orders, orders not ready and the wait time for new orders was 1/hour and 30 min. I also watched a manager yelling at her staff, rolling her eyes at customers as she gave a refund, major lack of remorse and young staff running around like chickens with their heads cut off. When it was my turn, clearly stated if my order was Not ready, I would like to cancel my order. The employee when to search for my order found my ticket on the end of the stack and was informed by another employee it was not ready and at the end of the list to be completed. Without thought I turned around and wished the others in line (still out the door and growing), "Good Luck!" As I do understand giving a new store the opportunity to grow and learn, this scene was like a circus. I read the reviews on Yelp, everyone had the exact same or even worse experience. I was very glad I had not already paid online. And Sadly I placed a new order with Mountain Mike's Pizza for delivery and received my order within an hour. I love Pizza Hut but get it together!

I don't know what it is about Pizza Hut crust, but I love it; it's doughy, greasy, and unhealthy (everything a cheep pizza should be). Although I like the pizza, the customer service at this location is HORRIBLE. My first visit was during opening week. It took an hour for them to make the 2 large pizzas we ordered. I chalked this experience up to the large crowd, and the novice, overwhelmed staff. My second experience with this location came by way of an online order. The delivery time was quoted for 30 minutes, but the order didn't arrive until closer to 50 minutes (we live a mile and a half away). My third (most recent) experience was with another online delivery order. The driver was courteous and on time, be he forgot the pasta from our order. When we called to inquire about our missing pasta, the girl that answered the phone was like "Oh, do you wanna come get it?" Really? Not even an apology? It was like pulling teeth to get her to send another driver to deliver our pasta. I honestly don't expect world class service from a place like this, but I do expect basic customer service. It'll be a while before I order from this location again.

Yay Pizza Hut in Elk Grove! We ordered the Chicken Supreme with the stuffed crust. The crust was awesome and generously filled with mozarella cheese. The only thing I didn't like was the spray-on finish they applied prior to putting it in the box. I saw them using this hairspray looking aerosol can and saw a quick glimpse of the label. It's a type of sweetener. I'm going to request they skip this step next time. But, otherwise, it was good. Service was as expected of a new business. They just need more experience which will come with time. Just make sure you listen closely when they call your name when your pizza is ready. They don't try too hard to make sure you hear them.

Came here earlier this evening to pick up our online order. We made the order online at about 8:10pm and it said that our pizza would be ready at 8:42pm. I get there around 8:35pm and there was a long line outside the door. We had a chat with some of the people in front of us and they said they had been there for 30 minutes+. When we got to the register at a little past 9pm, the employee checked for our order and said it wasn't even in the oven yet. We just decided to cancel our order and we walked out. I can understand that it was a busy night, but something's gotta be done with online orders and the estimated ready time. Maybe something like real-time updates, like what most websites have, to show how busy the location really is, allowing a better approximation on the time the pizza is ready. This is one reason I gave a 2-star rating. Another reason I gave it 2-stars is because the customer service. One employee was speaking to a lady who's order wasn't ready and he was giving his own excuses as to why it wasn't ready, practically trying to get himself out of a bad situation and throwing his colleagues under the bus.
(2)Chau L.
Ordered a super supreme pan large pizza for carry out over the phone. The rep was very helpful and quick to take my order. I told him I would be picking it up an hour later so if it could be ready then. He says no prob. I picked it up and it was hot and ready. This was Monday at 7:30pm and there wasn't a crowd inside, it was just me.
(4)Tina H.
I would give 0 stars if could This place is awful. They took forever finish my order. I place an order over the phone and they said it will take about 30 mins. When we got there 40 mins later we waited in the tiny room for another 30 mins. I over heard the manger tell cashier that one of their ovens is broken and lie to the customer about their order processing time. The food was just okay.
(1)Lila A.
Ordered the special $10 any size pizza (any toppings) and i forgot to order the other special i saw on my phone while i was ordering for any side plus a 2liter for $5. When i got to pizza place i was still able to get the deal since i ordered online. They get extra points for that! :)
(4)Jenniffer J.
I actually really liked this particular Pizza Hut location until my boyfriend found a long piece of hair in his slice of pizza . The customer service is good though .
(1)Chanel K.
This place was HORRIBLE! We ordered wings and a pizza and didn't even get our wings, and didn't get refunded. In the end we never got any of our stuff, and the pizza was horrible!
(1)Jen P.
Based on my experience last night, I'm not sure if I want to eat your pizza again. I thought since I love your pan crust, I'll order a large all meat lover pan crust pizza. Turns out I was not satisfied with it. The crust tasted like it was fried instead of baked and the pizza itself was very salty.
(2)Rachel L.
I placed an order for a big box at 6:41 pm on the website. The email response stated that delivery would be by 8:07 pm, which is a very long time to wait for a pizza, especially since we live very close by. By 8:15 pm, we still had not heard from the restaurant, so I called to find out the status. I figured that if there was a problem, they should have contacted me to let me know, but that wasn't the case. I called four times, and could not get through. The phone would ring and ring, and then would disconnect. I was actually beginning to think they had gone out of business. I finally got through on my fifth attempt, and the employee could not tell me how long it would take for our pizza to arrive. He kept checking the computer and putting me on hold. He had to check to see if the pizza had even been made. Finally, he said, "It'll be delivered at 8:00," when I had to tell him it was already 8:15. He finally spoke to a manager and told us that they would send it out within 20 minutes. I asked if we could just pick it up instead, since we had already waited so long. He said that would be fine, so we came to pick up our order. When we arrived, the cashier was telling another customer that the typical wait time for delivery was 3 hours (no joke). We got to the counter, and she checked the computer and said that they had already sent out the pizza for delivery, 2 minutes before we'd arrived. By the time we got home, our pizza was there, but it was cold and we had no marinara for the breadsticks. The staff didn't care that we were inconvenienced, and they never gave us an apology or anything. If you have to have Pizza Hut in Elk Grove, definitely go pick it up.

I'll have to visit more to get a better feel. Went the first time today and stopped here because I wasn't sure NY down the street did slices or personal size and the little one wanted pizza after shopping. I remember pizza hut being an okay pizza. Its the same, nothing spectacular. Ordered a cheese and a stuffed crust pepperoni which took only 15 minutes. Kudos for that. My only complaint is the stuffed crust one seemed more greasy than the cheese. Probably because the grease from the cheese but it makes the dough kind of soggy.the regular crust is thin but not crispy. The stuffed part is really good though, like eating a cheese stick attached to pizza. customer service is good, but be aware you may have to ask for a menu since there is no display or menu posted anywhere. There is a TV that shows when your pizza should be ready and it was accurate.
(3)nish a.
Customer service needs a lot of improvement even though it is only a pickup place. Trash talking behind the counter should be checked by the restaurant management . No plates, no cheese, no crushed pepper....C'mon Luckily I ordered online and it was ready at the time I was asked to pick up and thats why the 2 stars I am sure a better pizza experience can be got from many smaller pizza shops
(2)Shaquila D.
Asuch as I love Pizza Hut and their greasy dough and delicious crust I'm over this pizza hit in Elk Grove. They have the worst service ever they took super long to pick up the phone and when they finally pick it up they automatically put me on hold. I'm the type of customer that will tell all my friends about a good quick place to eat but this is definetly not the place for me my food takes forever an a day to be ready and the service is horrible I really don't think the Elk Grove pizza hit will last. What a waste of space.
(1)Itchy R.
I went there the first day it opened. I was so excited to finally have a pizza hut in Elk Grove. Unfortunately, they were so unorganized. It took an hour to get our pizza. The sad thing about it was that we ordered it in person. You would think it would be a lot faster. Their employees were dressed very sloppy and were complaining about wanting to go home even though they just started their shift. Keep in mind that this was the first day the store opened. Did I mention that a guy walked in with a huge rat over his shoulder to order a pizza. You would think that management would have said something about it but noooooo, instead the shift leader (the indian guy) was intrigued by the rat and acted like it was nothing. If a health inspector knew about this, I'm sure the place would have been shut down.

My family was so happy that a Pizza Hut finally opened in EG. Last Thursday I placed an order for 3 Large Specialty pizzas with two orders of wings. I was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. I told them it was fine and that I actually won't be able to get there for another 45 minutes since I'm coming from downtown and was about to hit rush hour traffic on 99 South. So, when I finally got there I assumed my order was just waiting for me and I can pick it up and go. When I arrived at the door I can barely get it. It is a tiny restaurant with no eating or waiting area. Why people decide to take their whole family to go order a pizza to go...I don't even know. When I was actually in the restaurant I noticed that there was only one cashier. Since there was no menu displayed people took forever to order since they don't look at the menu until they are at the front of the line. Finally another cashier opens up saying pick up orders only. Yay...that's me. Wrong!! A lot of the pick up orders were not ready. When it was finally my turned it took less than 5 minutes for them to look up my order and for me to pay. The cashier then proceeded to help the next person. He did not tell me where my pizza was or how much longer it would take. I didn't want to be rude and interrupt him while he was assisting another patron. I waited almost 10 minutes before I noticed my order just sitting there. I went up to the register and pointed out that my pizzas were right there. Sitting 2 ft from the cashier the whole time. He was like, "oh your pizzas are done?" Duh foo!! There is no order here. Ton of people working but no one seem to know what they are doing. Pizza was good but I don't think I'll frequent this place again anytime soon.

Bummer on the blah reviews for this location. I too have been disappointed here the few times I have ordered. First, it blows they don't deliver in Laguna West! It's not that far. I think that is really lame. Second, I agree on the veryyyyy slow customer service here. They obviously have a lot of new kinks to work out. I like the price of the pizzas here - any large for $10 - specialty pizza. The bread sticks were not good. I think it's because they wrap them in foil which retains moisture and then make the breadsticks soggy and taste stale/tough. I actually rather get my Pizza Hut fix from the one inside Target. Tastes so much better for a personal size pizza and the breadsticks are packaged differently in cardboard type packaging which keeps them fresh and crispy. The pizza was just OK from this location - a bit overlooked. Not sure I'll be back...
(2)Krystal P.
Ordered a large pizza, it was WAY over baked it was hard to eat, burnt cheese is the worst and i had to find out until I got home. Thanks
(1)liz s.
Keeping in mind that this is budget pizza, it's a-ok. I ordered a large pizza for $10. My online order said it would be ready in 20 minutes (Wednesday, pizza to be ready at 11:40AM). But after reading all the other yelp reveiws, I decided to give them an hour to get it ready, haha. When I arrived, there were a couple of people waiting for their orders but no line to pay. I got my pizza, paid and was out of there within 2 minutes. So if you go during an off peak day/time and give them lots of time to make your pizza, you shouldn't have a problem. Either that or I was lucky.
(3)Vanessa T.
Although the $10 deal is awesome the service is AWFUL!!! We had an online order which was quoted to take about an hour. We came in about an hour an 15 mins later, our pizza still wasn't even made!! They weren't very apologetic, and to top it off this wasn't the first time this happened!! I should've learned my lesson the first time and not even bothered trying to get pizza from them again. This is so unfortunate since we love Pizza Hut. Do yourself a favor and order somewhere else!!!
(1)Patrick H.
Pizza was fine, but they need to figure out the customer service side. Ordered pizzas and was told it would be 23 min later. I took my time getting there and paid for my pizzas 7 minutes after they said to be there. One pizza was ready but the other one was not ready till 15 min after I paid! Why not cook the same order at the same time?? Don't tell me to come when my food is not ready!
(1)Julie M.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE KNOWN TO MAN! Rebecca the manager could care less about your order, and even encouraged us to call Corporate. I did however, notice several job openings trying to find YELP to complain. LOL, they are hiring General Managers, Shift supervisors, Day and Night Managers for Elk Grove locations only hahahahaa THANK GOD! Hope this means some change in the future..ONLY TIME, AND YELP WILL ONLY TELL! Take your money and run somewhere else meanwhile! Unless you like the abuse go for it!
(1)McQuinn T.
Same old pizza hut chain pizza taste but the customer service here needs a lot of work. Long wait and very unorganized with the way in which they deal with customers.
(2)Yeezy Y.
Ordered pizza at 5:53pm and gave them 52 minutes to have it completed then waited in line for 10 minutes to pick up and they ain't got it ready yet???? Slow service on a Sunday. Be prepared to wait a long time before you get your food. Poor organization. Gonna file a complaint if it happens again.
(1)Lin A.
This place has horrible customer service and it takes them forever to get your order ready. I called my order in at 4:45pm one day, was told it would be ready in 30mins, showed up by 5:30pm and found out the order wasn't even started yet. Asked for a discount & only got a dollar off, with no apologies from management. I was livid! The place is so small. There is nowhere to really stand or sit. Save your time and Don't go there!
(1)Sharan K.
HORRIBLE! No space inside and rude customer service. Complete chaos and put you on hold via phone for 20 min. Screw up orders very easily. Basically crap service. I rather pay that extra 10 and get a decent pizza instead of paying for crap.
(1)Erica T.
2 hours after I placed my order and I'm still waiting for my damn pizza! Should have ordered papa johns. I hate pizza hut so bad right now I'm starving.
(1)Lisa A.
Bad pizza, rude employees, and they don't honor the advertisement that is on tv that says any pizza $10.00...which would be ok, maybe, if they would let you know BEFORE you order three large combo pizzas!! Btw, the ad doesn't say only at participating locations!! They suck!!
(1)M P.
great for cheap pizza that tastes better than most take out. recommend ordering online way before pick up time; especially on weekends when this place can be jam packed full of irate customers. dont go here for excellent service; go here for cheap tasty pizza.
(3)Sonya J.
We ordered out pizza ahead and picked it up the and in the car and I saw a hair on one of the slices...we went to get another pizza and the wait for another one was 30 min when they said it would be just 5 min
(1)Mstngwld M.
We have tried this place twice now- it is Absolutely the worse Pizza Hut pizza we have ever had. We ordered a pan pizza (we usually like Pizza Hut's pan pizza crust), but it was bland and doughy. The stuffed crust pizza we got was inedible-its was like chewing rawhide and tasteless. Yuck.
(1)Caitlin J.
I wish I could give them negative stars. I have never in my life been so disapointed by a food place! I was so excited for Pizza Hut to open when we saw the comming soon signs! I would walk by and peak inside when I went to tops excited there would finally be a Pizza Hut in Elk Grove and I wouldnt have to drive through the ghetto when I wanted Pizza Hut. I went the DAY they opened I was so excited! The people working were so dumb! My order was cold and my breadsticks didn't have any parmisan cheese like they normally do and the breadstick sauce was as watery as it could have possibly been. I figured everyone was new and it takes a while for a business to get on its feet with so many new employees, I couldnt be more wrong. I went two more times with the worst food experiences I have ever had. Employees were extremely rude, I was hung up on two times in the same day when trying to complain to a manager, once was BY the manager. I had NEVER in my life had such disgusting food. They couldnt even get a simple order of just breadsticks right once we kept recieving cheese sticks. We gave up after that. My boyfriends family ordered it today and I tried it thinking they possibly got their shit together. They didnt. It was nasty. Don't EVER go unless your looking for nasty food and somewhere to waste your money. I do not understand how so many dumb people got hired under one roof!
(1)Jeff P.
They tell me an hour and twenty to pick up my pizza. Times up, I go. They tell me they threw away the pizza because it was out too long. These kids need to be paid LESS.
(1)Rowena B.
3 words. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! They have no organization to how things are ran in there. Your lucky to get your pizza in an hour IF THAT. I actually walked out with no pizza because they "lost" a bunch of orders. Workers obviously didn't know how to handle the situation. I like pizza hut's pizza but I'm gonna give this store a few months to get their sh*t together and I'll think about coming back MAYBE.
(1)Ron R.
This place was horrible and ghetto. The night I went everyone had their orders over an hour late. There were 10 associates talking about people and no one was apologetic about orders being late. I decided not to eat there after seeing the person making pizza rubbing through her hair and face. Horrible!
(1)Cindy A.
Worst pizza and service I have ever experienced ! Will never choose Pizza Hut again. This location has ruined it for all the rest.
(1)David G.
I was so excited that a Pizza Hut opened in Elk Grove. That excitement quickly faded after ordering from them last night. Unlike most reviews so far my delivery arrived within 35 minutes, however, my pizza was not very warm, and the cheesesticks were cold. I called and spoke to a female manager who was very rude and refused to do anything to fix the issues. I contacted Pizza Hut corporate and am waiting for a response back. I know this is a new location that is still working out its issues, but the rudeness of the manager doesn't give me high hopes for this place.
(1)Deb S.
I was thrilled to hear all the negative reviews; not that I want any new businesses to fail; I don't! But I was beginning to think it was ME! I have tried 4 times in two weeks to call and order for pickup; I've been on hold over 5 minutes each time-- my philosophical LIMIT with no actual contact with a human-- so I hung up. Once I was transferred to a National Office order line. No Thanks! I guess given the other reviews, they don't need my business. Folks are Flocking! That's OK... I love PH but do remember all that GREASE! Papa John's has kept my loyalty!

Pizza takes 15-20 when you order at the store. Best deals are online they dont honor online deals. Food was really yummy. We got chicken with white sauce mushrooms and olives and white sauce mushroom olive pineapple artichoke tomato and saracha honey sauce.

HOLY F**KING S**T THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE. DO NOT GO TO THIS PIZZA HUT. GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT THIS ONE! I ordered a bacon pizza for delivery at 6:40 pm, super hungry and tired from work. 2 hours later it still hasn't arrived, so I call them at 8:42 pm to ask where my pizza is. The guy tells me that they don't have a record of my order. So I have to reorder and now I've got to wait another hour.
